Before you start

Access to the archives is by appointment only. There's no set opening times but our Council Records Manager will try to accommodate your needs.

Please note: If your request is for building plans, the only plans held in the archives are those from the Burgh of Barrhead dating from 1897 to the 1960s. For enquiries about other plans visit our search for copy documentation webpage.
