School Street Permits
Find out about our temporary 'School Street' pilot
To support our 'School Street' pilot, a temporary School Street Permit is available to affected persons who may need to drive along the road during the restricted times.
These are simply access permits that allow you to drive along the road during the restricted times. They are not parking permits and do not carry any parking exemptions.
All properties impacted by measures will be automatically issued one permit per household. You may apply for additional permits free of charge if you
- are a resident, business owner or carer for a qualifying property
- and require access along the road during the closure times
To request a permit, please email: roads@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk with your details:
- Full Name
- Address
- Vehicle registration number
- Justification for permit
A permit will be posted to you within 10 working days following confirmation. On receipt, you should display it clearly in the windscreen of your vehicle.
We may ask you for proof of residency and vehicle ownership to support the application. Any personal information will be collected and stored in accordance with our privacy policy.
