Concessionary Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Tariff Scheme
Find out about the Concessionary Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Tariff Scheme and how to apply
Residents of East Renfrewshire without access to off-street parking (e.g. a driveway or a garage) can apply for a concessionary tariff. This is set at 10% discount per kWh for both standard and rapid chargers. This is to ensure that there's a fair and just transition toward a zero-emission transport network for everyone.
Please note: This discount tariff is subject to change. Any changes will be updated on our website and ChargePlace Scotland.
Who can apply for a discount?
- residents whose only or main home is located within East Renfrewshire
- residents who don't have access to off street parking at their property (i.e. don't have a private driveway or garage)
- residents with access to a shared residential parking area (e.g. within a flatted development), but without a dedicated parking space
Residents with dedicated parking outwith their property (such as a remote garage, or dedicated parking space within a shared residential parking area) may be eligible for the concession, though this eligibility will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
