Have your say and help shape Local Transport Strategy

We're developing a new Local Transport Strategy, and residents are encouraged to share their views to help shape plans.

Local Transport Strategy

Published: 1 June 2023

The Local Transport Strategy will set out the vision for transport in East Renfrewshire and establish a framework for transport decision making and investment for the next 10 years.

The survey seeks feedback on a number of topics, including experiences moving around the area, travel habits, as well as views on potential transport challenges and priorties for the future.

This will ensure subsequent transport policies for a more sustainable, safer and better connected place reflect the needs of people and communities.

Councillor Danny Devlin, Convenor for Housing and Environment, said: 'The Council would like to gather as many residents' views as possible so they can gain a better understanding on what the new Local Transport Strategy should look like, key future priorities for the area and where investment is needed the most. Residents' feedback is important so I would encourage as many people to take the time to share their thoughts, to ensure the Local Transport Strategy is as representative as possible.'
