South Asian Heritage Month
The annual celebration runs from 18 July to 17 August
It's South Asian Heritage Month and we're focussing on our vibrant South Asian community here in East Renfrewshire.
We asked our local community to share what their South Asian heritage means to them. We also spoke to members of the Diversity Friendship Group, a local community-led group that provides friendship, support and learning for minority ethnic women, about why the group is important to them
