Council housing
Find out information about council housing and how to apply.
From Wednesday 25 September bidding for a council property will be done through our self-service online portal, MyEastRen. Make sure you're ready and register your account.
East Renfrewshire is extremely popular with housing applicants. However, we have a relatively small number of around 3,000 properties and we only let approximately 150-200 each year on average. Unfortunately, this means the vast majority of our applicants will wait several years before an offer of housing can be made. We therefore suggest our applicants look at additional social housing providers while still applying to our list.
