Booking events

New events will be available to book early 2025!

To view events and check availability select the 'Book online' button (from 2025). You'll be able to purchase tickets one month before the event.

There are 2 steps to booking tickets - make sure you complete the process to confirm your booking.

  • please add a contact phone number in case of last minute changes or cancellation.
  • add Whitelee-crs@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk to your email address list to ensure you receive event details and updates once booked.
  • if the event is full, you can join our reserve list. If you'd like to be added, email whitelee-crs@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk If space(s) become available you'll be contacted.

If you're booked onto an event and can't attend please cancel your tickets, as we usually have waiting lists for our events

To cancel, open the link on your confirmation email or via your MyEastRen account and follow the on screen instructions.  Otherwise contact the Countryside Ranger so that they can confirm your cancellation and fill your space(s) from the event waiting list.

Photos

We occasionally take photos during our events for use in promotional material. We'll always check if you are happy to have your photo taken. If you are happy to be included in photos we'll ask you to complete a Photo Permission Form in advance of the event.

If you do not wish your photo taken it's no problem - just let the Ranger know.

Children and dogs

Children need to have a parent/guardian in attendance at all events.  If an event is for children only, adults will need to book a space on the online booking system.  If an event is for the whole family each member of the family attending needs to book a ticket.

Dogs are welcome at the events marked 'dogs on leads welcome'.  If you want to bring your dog to an event which doesn't have this indicator you'll need to contact the countryside ranger before booking.  Contact details are listed below.

Event guidelines and useful information:

Please read the specific event information for each activity for additional details and/or things to bring.

  • please wear/bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Prepare for changeable weather
  • all published distances and finish times are approximate and subject to change
  • please aim to arrive 5 minutes before the  published event start time

What happens next?

At the point of booking you'll receive an email which confirms the date, time and number of spaces you requested.  The link to cancel your attendance will be included in this email.

The Rangers will send a reminder email to all participants closer to the event date which will advise of meeting points and directions. If there are any changes to the event, including cancellations due to weather and/or staff absence, you'll be notified.

Paths for All Health Walk logo

Walking is one of the best ways that we can keep fit and it's fun too!

Join the Whitelee Rangers for a short health walk on the windfarm - stretch your legs, have a natter and maybe even spot some local wildlife. The health walk is on every Tuesday morning from 10am, meeting outside the Whitelee Visitor Centre. The walk is free of charge, and there's no need to book, just turn up.

This health walk covers a distance of up to 2 miles, and lasts 45mins - 1hr at a gentle pace, with a couple of small hills to get the heart-rate up a bit. The walk is suitable for all ages and abilities, and new walkers are always welcome. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a short lead for this walk.
